Susan Schenk has been baking, cooking and catering for the past 20 years. After being inspired by recipes, cooking classes and her own personal history, Susan returned to school, achieving a Culinary Arts Certificate from PPCC in 2016. Susan crafts delicious, innovative baked goods that go far beyond your everyday cakes and cookies. Susan draws on her heritage and experience baking for Temple Shalom and Food-a-Rama to create Jewish baked goods and pastries as well as classic offerings such as brownies, granola and more. The term "depot" comes from 'depot de pain', a French term that signifies the baked goods are not baked on the premises, but brought directly from the kitchen to the shop for your enjoyment. Susan's sweets are cultural, decadent and above all, delicious.
